Please come to visit the charming village of Dorset, Vermont and Flower Brook Pottery. Originally a Congregational Church in Enfield, MA., the building was transported to Dorset in the late 1930's to make way for the Quabbin reservoir. This lovely little building currently displays hand-crafted pottery created on the premises by Janno.
We have on display a variety of functional ware in an assortment of colorful patterns inspired by natural elements. There are also one of a kind pieces that stretch function with whimsical expression. |
We have been expanding our gift area, especially the children's section! You'll find playful infant and toddler apparel by Zutano, striped knit hats by KDHill, whimsical infant booties & fantasy slippers by Goody Goody, snuggly baby throws and pillows....
Pick out your favorite items & we'll create a custom gift basket for you, or select one of our artfully created baskets - a perfect gift, ready to give. For women we have terrifically unique slides and totes by Goody Goody, luxurious silk scarves by Pat Hayes, beautifully felted wool hats by Kris Kristensen, and handmade sterling silver jewelry by silverwear.

Come in, browse and enjoy the tranquil setting, spend a quite hour in a village steeped in tradition, perhaps you'll find the potter at the wheel, creating traditional craft in a time honored way.
